Troubleshooting

Most problems come from the app configuration, an unfinished approval, or a permission that was not granted.

What you see What to check
The app shows no Kasbly tools The URL is exactly https://mcp.kasbly.com, the app supports remote MCP servers, and you restarted it or opened a new chat.
“This link can’t be used” in Kasbly The approval screen expires after 10 minutes or was already answered. Start the connection again from the app.
A permission is greyed out Your role in that workspace doesn’t allow it. Ask an owner or admin.
A tool you expect is missing The connection doesn’t have that permission. Reconnect and tick it.
The app worked, then stopped It was disconnected, your role changed, or you left the workspace. Connect again.
Wrong workspace Disconnect the app in Settings, connect again, and choose the right workspace.
A draft was refused Use an accountId from list_social_accounts, and add media for platforms that need it.
401 errors The app hasn’t finished signing in. Remove Kasbly from the app, add it again and approve.

Kasbly MCP uses sign-in (OAuth). It does not accept Kasbly API keys.

  1. Remove Kasbly from the AI app.
  2. In Kasbly, open Settings → AI assistants (MCP) and disconnect the old connection.
  3. Add https://mcp.kasbly.com to the app again.
  4. Approve access with the right account and workspace.
  5. Ask “Which Kasbly workspace are you connected to?” before asking for drafts.

Terminal window
curl -i https://mcp.kasbly.com \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Accept: application/json, text/event-stream" \
