SMS
The SMS channel lets customers text your business numbers, with conversations flowing into your unified Inbox where your AI agent can respond.
What it enables
Section titled “What it enables”- Two-way text messaging with customers over SMS.
- Support for multiple connected numbers, with a default sender number for outbound messages.
- A connection status view showing connected numbers, which numbers have SMS enabled, and webhook readiness.
Connecting it
Section titled “Connecting it”SMS runs through your telephony provider account, so it shares setup with the voice / telephony channel. Connect your provider account, add numbers, enable them for SMS, and confirm the webhook is configured. Then pick a default sender number on the SMS settings page.
Once connected, incoming SMS messages appear in the Inbox as conversations alongside your other channels.
