The Email channel connects an email provider to your workspace so email conversations flow into your unified Inbox, where your AI agent can respond.
What it enables
Section titled “What it enables”- Email messaging with customers, sent from your own from address and display name.
- A choice of email providers when connecting: SendGrid, Amazon SES, or your own SMTP server.
- A connection status view showing your provider, from address, and which credentials are saved.
Connecting it
Section titled “Connecting it”Connect Email from your workspace settings under the Email channel. Choose your provider, enter your from address and display name, then provide that provider’s credentials:
- SendGrid — an API key.
- Amazon SES — an access key, secret key, and region.
- SMTP — host, port, username, and password.
Saved secrets are stored securely and shown only as a status indicator, not as plain text. Once connected, email conversations appear in the Inbox alongside your other channels. You can update or disconnect the provider at any time.
