WhatsApp

The WhatsApp channel lets customers reach you on WhatsApp. Conversations flow into your unified Inbox, where your AI agent can reply.

  • Two-way messaging with customers over WhatsApp, including text and media.
  • Message templates — pre-approved formats with variable placeholders, used for outbound messages (updates, reminders) that fall outside the standard reply window.
  • One or more WhatsApp business numbers on your workspace.
  1. In the left sidebar, open AI Agents, then select Connect channels to open the agent configuration map. Your channels appear on the right side of the map.

  2. Select the WhatsApp channel card to open its settings page.

  3. Kasbly connects through the Official WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta) — the sanctioned WhatsApp Business API. Fill in the connection fields: Display Phone Number, Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and Access Token. Each field explains where to find its value in Meta Business Suite, and the Where do I find these? link walks you through it. The access token is stored encrypted and never displayed after saving.

  4. Click Save WhatsApp Settings. You can click Test connection first to confirm the credentials work.

  5. Kasbly automatically subscribes to the number’s webhook so inbound messages start flowing into your Inbox — no separate step needed. If that automatic step can’t complete (for example, the pasted access token belongs to a different Meta App than the one configured for your workspace), the page shows a Manual webhook setup (advanced) section with the callback URL and verify token. Paste those into Meta’s WhatsApp API Setup → Webhooks yourself to finish the connection.

The Connected numbers section, lower on the same page, lists the WhatsApp numbers saved for your workspace. Once a number is connected it appears here, where you can manage it.
